Programme B2B

About the program

We are supporting business ideas and innovative solutions in developing countries.

The private sector has an irreplaceable role to play in international development. It brings new opportunities to local people, transfers the necessary know-how and contributes to improving the business environment in the countries concerned. At the same time, foreign development cooperation represents an opportunity for the Czech private sector and offers companies the opportunity to expand into new markets.

The goal of the Development Partnership Program for the Private Sector, or B2B Program, is to involve the private sector in fulfilling the goals of the Czech Republic's foreign development cooperation and to support the business sector in developing countries.

Projects that have a positive development impact for a given region or target group are supported, such as developing the business environment, involving local suppliers in value chains, strengthening competitiveness, transferring technology and know-how, creating new and skilled jobs, environmentally friendly technologies or respect for labour standards and fair remuneration. Projects implemented in the form of business-to-business partnerships can also bring solutions to local development problems and challenges in connection with the so-called Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The program is designed for companies with business plans that will help solve local development problems in the form of already established business to business partnerships with local businesses or those interested in exploring new markets, securing potential partners for cooperation or investing directly in the country and establish a joint there. venture or branch. The B2B program thus offers a wide range of opportunities to acquire partners and references in interesting territories, while the subsidy will help minimize the risk associated with entering new markets.

Companies can receive a grant from the B2B Program in the de minimis regime up to 50% of the total costs for the preparation of feasibility studies and business plans (maximum CZK 0.5 million) or up to 40% of the total costs for the project implementation (maximum CZK 2 million / year ).

The CRA also provides companies with additional support within the B2B Program. Employees of Czech embassies advise companies on business plans and draw attention to potential risks. The program also seeks to support the continuity of commercial activities of companies through cooperation with the Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank (ČMZRB) and the export insurance company EGAP.
