The vision of the Agency is as follows:

Czech Development Agency, while making effective use of available experience and resources, assists less developed countries with finding solutions to their development challenges and thus contributes to the dignified and sustainable life on our planet as well as to nurturing a good reputation of the Czech Republic abroad.

• It focuses its activities on the poorest and most vulnerable groups in poor countries and improves conditions that determine the quality of their lives.
• It makes effective use of resources and experience of the Czech Republic and provides sustainable solutions to development issues in less developed countries.
• It supports civil society and local process of change that lead to a fairer society.
• It engages the private sector in development solutions and supports an environment that enables economic growth, entrepreneurship and the influx of investment into partner countries.
• It emphasises cross-cuting values of the Agency: partnership, sustainability and transparency.
