The CzDA organisational structure comprises three departments and the director.

The Project Implementation Department is responsible for project management within the framework of the ZRS methodology, which includes preparation of the source documents for the assessment of ODA CZ (official development assistance) project ideas, assessment of project ideas, offers and proposals of projects as part of tender and grant selection procedures, the preparation of contracts with project implementers, monitoring and continuous control of project implementation and constant communication with the institutions of partner countries, embassies, ODA project implementers, NGOs, the private sector and universities. The department is also responsible for the implementation of horizontal grant programmes coordinated by CzDA (B2B, Global Development Education and Public Awareness, Boosting the Capacities of Non-state Platforms, Support for the Development Activities of Regions and Municipalities, Support for Tri-party Projects of Czech Entities) and the implementation of EU-delegated cooperation projects.

The Control Department is in charge of public administration audits at subsidy beneficiaries, preparation the of internal methodologies and guidelines, ensuring risk management and its full functionality, the coordination of risk management at CzDA with the internal auditor, administration of CzDA procurement and external legal services.

The Administration Department primarily manages the CzDA secretariat, prepares and manages the CzDA budget and economy, handles financial reporting and the project administration system, CzDA logistics operations, including accounting, the external audit of the financial statements, the staffing, labour-law and payroll agenda, communication with the public and administration of the CzDA website.
