As of 1st January 2012 Bosnia and Herzegovina passed several new technical directives. However BaH lacks the capacity to test the implementation and functionality of these directives. Existing BaH laboratories do not have the capacity or accreditation to meet obligations now arising from legislature. The aim of the project is to help improve current unsatisfactory state of laboratories, testing related services and quality testing, especially by providing necessary know-how and technical equipment to laboratories.
The project aims to gradually build a testing network similar to that of EU countries to achieve results that could be used in the EU. Main objective is to achieve accreditation for selected laboratories in BaH.
