The purpose of the project is an improvement of living standards of the inhabitants of the Southern region of Moldova. Currently the South region doesn´t have enough financial resources to implement projects focused on regional development. Especially local and regional public administration need more training on Project Cycle Management (PCM) and project documents development as they are responsible for project proposals.
The objective of the project is to increase the volume of financial resources allocated to the socio-economic development of Moldova’s South region from the national fund for regional development and from other financial sources. (e.g. Ministry of Economy) or from Moldovan Investment and Export Promotion Organization (MIEPO) which would enhance the socio-economic development of the region. Increased number of quality project proposals for the National fund for regional development is a necessary condition as well as an increased ratio between proposed and approved applications.
