The proposed three-year project (2023-2025) "Streamlining Aquaculture in Cambodia’s Vocational Education" aims to strengthen the quality of secondary technical education at the regional and national levels. The project will achieve its objectives at the national level by providing access to validated and piloted market based curricula for the processing of agricultural and food products with integrated aquaculture modules, based on collaboration with local experts and actors and lessons learned from other CZDA-funded TVET projects in Cambodia. At the provincial level, the project will increase the capacity of two technical secondary schools, Preah Bat Samdach Preah Baramneath Norodom Sihamoni General and Technical High School (PBGT) in Kampong Chnnang Province and Kampong Cherteal General Education and Technical High School (KCGE) in Kampong Thom Province, to provide quality education and training in aquaculture production and post-harvest processing. The project responds to the need to improve the quality of secondary technical education in aquaculture.
