The project is aimed at supporting local governments in increasing efficiency and quality of public administration performance, including their involvement in international projects and initiatives.  During the first phase of the project, the needs of partner institutions in BiH will be analysed. Based on this analysis, micro projects will be planned and implemented to support local governments work within identified themes. Those topics include management of (municipal) sewage, planning and construction of sewage and sewage treatment plants; handling of municipal waste, selection of the separation system, location of collection points and the disposal of landfills/depots; the provision of heat and energy efficiency; and last but not least, increasing employment, attracting investment and creating jobs at the municipal level. The project is planned for one-year and thus will be completed in 2018.
