The project reflects the priority of agriculture sector in strategic documents concerning the cooperation between the Czech Republic (CR) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). This project focuses on issues of artificial reproduction in farm animals and is based on earlier activities funded from the Official Development Assistance of the Czech Republic, whoose aim was to build an insemination center in Banja Luka.
The aim of this project is to create a team of experts which will be able to conduct highly specialized works at the Faculty of Agronomy in University of Banja Luka. This center/team will study the quality of bull semen doses and will also study doses of other livestock. Students of specialized departments will participate on this project and they will also do their scientific works during this project. This project will be the intersection between teaching, research activities and practice (Veterinary-Stočarski Centar in Banja Luka, see below). The project will be implemented through the delivery of equipment and material needed for work and hosting of professionals - trainers from the Czech Republic. The impact of the project should be a long-term support of already existing artificial insemination centre and in education of specialists.
