The aim of this project will be a creation of two centres in Balti and Taul, providing health and social care for 1 250 local patients and offering certified trainings for 300 persons in the field of home care services. Another goal is to raise awareness about this issue. In order to fulfil this target project team will work and cooperate with local key partners, government representatives, experts and general public to establish necessary policies and logical framework in accordance with the Moldavian law. Project activities will provide people who are unable to fully care for themselves, to live in their home environment and the community or with their families, and therefore retain some independence. Thus, the aim of the project is to improve the quality of life of people dependent on the care of others by strengthening the quality and availability of professional health and social services in home and community settings in the northern region of Moldova. The project will have an impact on all members of local society and the main results are going to be: higher availability of social and health care services in the northern Moldova; Strengthened capacity of staff, volunteers and other key stakeholders within the organization and delivery of high quality home care health and social services; newly established network between NGOs and local administrations; increased awareness concerning this issue and promotion of home care within the Moldovan society.
