The Centre for Humanitarian Aid and Development Cooperation of the Diocesan Charity of Ostrava-Opava (hereinafter referred to as SHPaRS DCHOO) is an implementer or co-implementer of long-term projects in Ukraine and Moldova: Adoption at a distance (Ukraine), Dignity of Life (Zakarpattia region of Ukraine, Singerei region of Moldova, assistance to the elderly and disabled based on the principle of adoption at a distance), Home of Peaceful Old Age (village of Ust'chorna - Ukraine, assistance to the elderly in a retirement home), St. Nicholas Home (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, helping children in an orphanage), Home Care Centre (Grigorauca and surroundings, Moldova, home care) and assistance to victims of conflict throughout Ukraine. In addition to these basic projects, SHPaRS DCHOO provides humanitarian aid deliveries, organizes brigades and internships of Czech volunteers in Ukraine, and since the beginning of its operation has organized awareness-raising activities in the Czech Republic. The continuous work on the development and improvement of services is evidenced by the Czech Republic's winning of the National Award for Corporate Social Responsibility in 2012.

The intention of the project is to increase the support and awareness of the Czech public in the field of foreign development cooperation (FDC) through a comprehensive awareness campaign with a focus on online marketing on current and development issues in two least developed countries "on the periphery of Europe", Moldova and Ukraine, in order to strengthen the awareness of foreign development cooperation and humanitarian aid, and thus contribute to increasing the interest and support of the Czech public for the field of FDC in the Czech Republic.

The selected topics of awareness-raising activities include:

Health, Education, Ecology and Environment (hereafter referred to as Environment), Peace and War. The themes will be promoted through outputs:

1.1 Social media campaign with current topics from Moldova and Ukraine through promo videos, 1.2 Follow-up newsletter campaign with current topics from Moldova and Ukraine,

1.3 Printed brochures introducing development projects and opportunities for public participation in the FDC,

1.4 "On the Edge of Europe" - a travelling exhibition of educational panels on selected topics for loan.
