The project "Building a Maternal and Child Healthcare System in Perinatology in Cambodia - Phase II" (CZ PeriCareII) is being implemented to improve the quality of healthcare in maternal and child care, which is one of the main priorities of the Cambodian Ministry of Health. The project is funded by the Czech Development Agency and aims to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality, strengthen the capacities of healthcare providers, and ensure the necessary medical equipment for the National Pediatric Hospital in Phnom Penh. The project will focus on training healthcare personnel, implementing digital solutions for data collection and analysis, and raising public awareness about the importance of perinatal care. The project will have a long-term impact and contribute to the overall improvement of the healthcare system in Cambodia, with an emphasis on achieving sustainable development goals, specifically reducing maternal mortality and mortality among newborns and children under five years old.
