The aim of the project is to rise awareness and understanding of the Czech development cooperation in the context of new agenda for sustainable development, to inform about the situation in developing countries and to point out the interconnection in today globalized world and call for the change of consumer’s behaviour. Topic of the project is myths about the development cooperation that stand in the way for its bigger support. Furthermore they deepen negative perception on developing countries. Breaking myths will be done through the promotion of successful projects of the Czech development cooperation, increasing the understanding of the Czech development cooperation system and referring to the complexity of problems of developing countries. Project idea is based on an assumption that only well-informed public will be able and sufficiently motivated to support and act actively in poverty eradication.  This will be achieved not only by well tested forms of communication such as debates and public events but by cooperation with media as well.
