The project aims to develop higher education in Georgia through building capacities in research and teaching at the level of academic staff and increasing competencies of students at Ilia State University in Tbilisi in the field of bio-cultural diversity conservation in Georgia. The target group includes academic staff and students of the Institute of Socio-Ecology and Ethno-Biology, the Institute of Ecology, and the Institute of Botany. The specific topic on which the project focuses is diversity and traditional knowledge of local useful plants.
