The project represents the final phase of the previous project implemented under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, implemented in the scope of extraordinary development assistance for 2010. The project helped establish the operation of home care center that provides basic health and social care to vulnerable groups in Gori and surrounding villages. In 2011 the center underwent transformation to prepare for multi-source funding and to finance its operation from own resources. Other foreign donors and local Gori district government also contributed to the project in 2011.
