The main objective of the project is to support 30 civil society organizations (CSOs) that will strengthen democracy principles and ensure the implementation of participatory democracy at the local government level. This will be ensured thought active participation of CSOs in the political discussions and decision-making processes at the local level, through dialogue committees (CACs) and social safety nets (SPN) in the provinces of Huíla and Bié. The overall objective is based on a needs analysis that revealed a weak bargaining power and limited political influence of CSOs.
