The project will focus on the development of civil society organizations (especially those bronging together local farmers) and through them increase efficiency of crop production in Mongolian province Khentii. The purpose of cooperation with the Agriculture Support Association in the frame of the project is its organizational and professional empowerment. The project will also focus on local agricultural cooperatives and individual farmers. Their productivity will be increased through trainings, introduction of new cultivation technologies and demonstration activities. On the political level, the project will seek formulation and approval of agricultural sector development strategy of the province.
