In the Czech Republic, a unique tradition has been established under the umbrella of the Association of Corporate Social Responsibility, which is gradually penetrating other countries. In 2019, for the third year in a row, specific activities and strategies undertaken by Czech organisations contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Czech Republic and abroad through development aid were awarded. The SDGs Awards motivate players not only from business, but also non-profit organisations, public administration and the general public to integrate sustainability into their daily lives. As part of the SDGs Awards project, the Association for Corporate Social Responsibility, o.p.s. awarded the best projects that are working on the national level and abroad to implement the UN 2030 Agenda and through the SDGs are changing the Czech Republic and the world for the better. The 2019 campaign was also complemented by a unique women's amateur football tournament, the Global Goals World Cup, which brought the Global Goals to the wider public through sport.
