The aim of the project is to create interest as well as increase awareness and education about global development issues (human rights, development cooperation, global problems, Third World problems etc.) based on 3 target groups: high school and elementary school teachers, students, and the general public of the Pardubice region. The first group will be offered 2 seminars per year led by experienced instructors who will work on getting teachers more involved in the subject of global development issues and improve their qualifications. This will take place in schools through the means of discussions, workshops lectures, exhibitions and the One World Festival. The community will also be able to benefit from the same materials as well as the Football for Development campaign and the One World Festival which will be open to the public. These educational activities for the targeted groups should raise awareness of global responsibility and international as well as Czech development cooperation.
