The purpose of the project is to create the care plan for the protected landscape area Tusheti, and furthermore, to create the guidelines for creation of the general care plan. The data mining, work with the community, trainings and other educational activities will take place in the frame of the project. The trip of a few experts from the Czech Republic to Georgia is planned, as well as a training visit of a few Georgian partners to the Czech Republic. The main partner of the project on the Georgian part is the district administration of Akhmeta, which is the establisher of the administrative entity Administration of Tusheti Protected Landscape. The team of five experts from the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic and from National Park Krkonoše spent almost two weeks in Tusheti in August, 2012, conducting the collection of data. Afterwards, the data were evaluated, and the training visit of the employees of Georgian local administration of Akhmeta, Georgian Agency of Protected Areas and representative of the Tusheti community took place.
