The project aims to to contribute to the reduction of poverty through integrated, sustainable and participatory rural development in Georgia. The goal will be achieved via improved employment, community empowerment and living conditions of rural population in Kazbegi by introducing the LEADER approach to community-led local development as a pilot for national scale up. The action targets all types of local public, private and civic actors and individual inhabitants to create local partnerships. Active local players will be invited to participate in local strategy planning and become members of Local Action Group (LAG).
