The events of recent years show us that we are more than ever part of the global scene. Climate change and the situation surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic demonstrate this connection more clearly than many have been able to admit. Other contemporary challenges also show that there are issues that go beyond us as citizens of our country and need to be seen in a much broader context. Moreover, this perception is increasingly permeating the field of education.

ARPOK, o.p.s. is an NGO that has been working on global and development issues for over 16 years. It not only educates students in schools, but also helps their teachers to bring global development education (GDE) into their own workplaces. The ARPOK team is made up of experts who have been working in the field of GDE for many years, both in a pedagogical and methodological framework. 16 years of deepening the know-how of global teaching and innovative educational approaches, together with collaboration with educators themselves, is one of the things that make us a valued partner for many educators in the field of educating their pupils and students.

By using a combination of attractive and accessible learning formats - webinars, seminars, shared good practice, workshops, discussions - this project contributes to the fact that the PPs involved are able to work flexibly and effectively with tools for teaching GDE even in more challenging areas of education, and are able to recruit their colleagues for GDE as well, thus striving to make GDE not only part of the curriculum, but also a normal part of the life of the school and the pupils themselves.
