The project aims to improve access to quality health care in remote areas of West and possibly southern Mongolia. The project sets up a mobile office by six central hospitals in the form of an off-road car equipped with the necessary apparatus and material, which tours all the districts in regular cycles and supports less staffed and materially equipped rural hospital. The main function of such a clinic is diagnosis, prevention, as well as provision of emergency health care. Representatives of Mongolian institutions at all levels, from the Ministry of Health to village doctors unanimously agreed on the need for this service.
