The project aims at promoting sustainable production and consumption in the construction sector through construction waste material recycling. In order to achieve this, the project will work in several directions. Small and medium enterprises in the construction sector will be assisted to apply environmentally sustainable waste management practices. The project will develop, test and disseminate several products made of construction waste. At the same time, public and business awareness on these products will be raised through seminars, studies and campaigns. The project will further seek to make the legal framework more supportive to construction waste material recycling.
