The Project is targeting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) that have been forced to live in the "safe cattle camps" due to the ongoing conflict and host Communities that are equally exposed to violence and insecurity along the Sobat river corridor of Nasir and Ulang counties of Upper Nile state. The two counties are home to the Nuer ethnic group. The project, in total, is planning to reach a total of 10,000 HHs; which is 5,000 HHs in each county as Primary beneficiaries. 60% of the beneficiaries will be IDPS while 40% will be members of the host community. The intervention will target agro-pastoralists plus those involved in fishing and gathering wild leaves for food as a coping mechanism.
