The aim of the project is mainly the reconstruction of wastewater treatment plant which will also include installation of operating unit in the municipality of Mramor and its connection to the common sewerage in the watershed water reservoir called Badovcit or Badovac (in older maps called Gračanicko Lake). The plant will be built by Kosovo recipient with cooperation from partners from the Czech Republic. In the area there is not any wastewater treatment of any kind but despite that Badovac Lake serves as the main source of drinking water for Pristina and town Gračanica. Moreover, water in the lake is contaminated by uncontrolled discharge of water waste from neighbouring municipalities. Construction of sewerage will eliminate the main source of pollution and thus improve the quality of water in lake. Implementation of the project will generally improve the environment in the area and also the state of health of population which is affected by quality of the water in lake.
