The intention of the project is to arouse interest and raise awareness about global issues - human rights, life in third world countries, development cooperation, etc. We would like to achieve active involvement of the citizens of the Pardubice Region in the fight against global poverty, human rights violations, oppression of ethnic minorities, etc. In a time of increasing nationalism, racism and xenophobia. Awareness-raising actions then fight against these unacceptable phenomena.

The project is based on the long experience of the association, where Pontopolis has been working on global development issues and awareness raising. We have a clear idea of the knowledge of the schools and the public in our territory. We have to be honest and say that this topic is more than needed to be brought closer to schools at the moment. We are in a time where not only young people but also educators are exposed to a lot of misinformation and we believe that through serious activities, they will be able to understand the topics more and sort the information better.

The project is aimed at global development education and awareness raising in schools and for the public in the Pardubice Region. It aims to promote awareness of global development issues through lectures, talks, concerts and workshops.
