The purpose of the project is to create the database of the Georgian health resort facilities, to professionalize the special personnel and to improve the medical equipment of some of the health resorts. The long-term aim of the project is to create the development plan of Georgian balneology with the emphasis on implementation of legislation. The significant component of the project is the transfer of knowledge of the Czech Republic in the process of privatization of Czech health resorts, an afterwards in accession to EU.

In addition to drafting a long-term strategy for the development of the Georgian spa was part of the project also purchase of therapeutic massage couchettes, and training of local medical staff in balneologic and therapeutic methods.
