The main goal of the project is to create a systematic support for Fairtrade schools, so that they can become important actors in promoting global responsibility in their region and are able to engage other local actors in doing so. This will be achieved by empowering “fair trade groups” in schools as well as towns, by enhancing global education and supporting teachers in Fairtrade schools and by creating environment, in which the school “fair trade groups” can independently organize educational events for the public and contribute to raising awareness about the global interconnectedness. There will be prepared supporting methodical materials and manuals for students from “fair trade groups” for individual lectures and educational programs leading, will be organized two photographic exhibitions and many other educational events realized by students.
