The project aims at contributing to the preservation of the landscape´s potential while at the same time focusing on agricultural production. The main goal is to use water resources effectively in order to ensure that agricultural production is sustainable and that the resistance of the land against erosion is increased in target areas – i.e. Kacha Birra woreda and Angacha in the Kembata Tembaro zone. The project thus facilitates increased agricultural production while the area of cultivated land is reduced.
