CzechAid has been running a long-term project focused on cancer prevention in Georgia. The project aims to increase capacities of medical staff and to enhance the supply of laboratory equipment to the Child Haematology and Oncology Department.What is more, within the project we continue to construct the screening centre in Zugdidi, as well as we educate the family doctors on the prevention of oncological diseases. Following the conference on awareness raising and prevention of oncological diseases the newspaper Georgia Today has published an article titled Cancer Is Not a Death Sentence!
