The intention of the project is to contribute to the creation of effective foreign development cooperation (FDC) and the sustainability of the activities of the organisations involved in FoRS, with an emphasis on the principles of FDC and cooperation within civil society as one of the pillars of democracy.  The aim is to strengthen the limited capacities of the FoRS platform and to use them as effectively as possible to ensure that the organisations associated in it retain the capacity to be qualified and respected actors contributing to the creation of quality and predictable FDCs in the years to come, even in a turbulent social context, as only such will benefit the final beneficiaries. The project is implemented by the FoRS Secretariat. The target groups include 1) Organizations associated in FoRS, 2) FDC actors from the public sector at the national level 3) Private sector representatives active in FoRS or with the potential for involvement in it, 4) FoRS partner structures. The project aims at three outcomes: 1) Strengthened awareness and capacities of the platform for its effective and sustainable functioning, 2) Strengthened professional and advocacy potential of the platform, 3) Increased competences of the organisations associated in FoRS through training events.
