The project builds on the needs of the FoRS platform, consisting of 40 non-profit non-governmental organisations and other non-profit bodies working in the field of development cooperation, global education and awareness raising, and relief. The project follows the long term mission of FoRS and similar one-year projects on capacity development of the platform in past years. It aims to strengthen the FoRS platform and its members as qualified partners in development at national and EU levels. The project develops FoRS operations in two areas: 1. Promoting interests of the FoRS membership and influencing development and other related policies on the national and European level (policy, advocacy, external communication); 2. Strengthening capacities of FoRS, education of members, sharing of experience and elementary common values.
