The project aims to support the capacity of SIRIRI to contribute to sustainable literacy development and emancipation of project partners.
Project objectives:
Cl: Through increased capacity, SIRIRI develops the capacity for sustainability of the project in terms of diversification of financial resources and sharing of responsibilities with local partners.
C2: The increased capacity supports the teaching of the reading comprehension method of working with text
The project objectives emphasize two main lines of development of the School at Play programme - methodological and programmatic. In the methodological part, the capacities of local trainers will be developed to prepare them to train independently and take on a higher level of responsibility. At the same time, the project, based on the experience of teaching supported mathematical competences, this year emphasizes the development of reading competences.
Project outcomes:
VI.1: Communication with donors outside the country and development of opportunities for diversification of programme funding VI.2: SIRIRI professional volunteers share more responsibilities with local selected teachers in training other teachers, thus supporting their emancipation
V2: Developing "innovative" and locally targeted methods of working with reading comprehension texts.
