Through an online campaign and events for young people and the public, the "Does it burn you" project will promote awareness-raising activities among young people and raise awareness among the general public at regional and local level about sustainable development issues and their global context, which they consider important in their lives and homes. The issue of sustainable development cannot be grasped without a discussion of "why should I care what happens on the other side of the world, how does it affect me?" That is what it is about.
The project will provide support to young people in the 4 regions not only in the form of information on the SDGs, but especially in the use of modern communication and campaigning tools, so that they can then replicate and communicate the knowledge and experience gained to their peers and also to the general public through events in their neighbourhood. The project builds on already tested participatory and interactive methods that are part of the European project SDGs and Migration - Multipliers and Journalists Addressing Decision Makers and Citizens in the EU.
