The goal of this project is to assist the deaf community in Kosovo and its integration into society. The outcomes of the project include the establishment of the unit for providing interpreting services to the deaf people in Kosovo, and subsequently the launching of the services. Second objective, focuses on adjusting the services of Regional Centers for Professional Vocational Training in Kosovo to the needs of deaf people. Third objective will focus on increasing the access of deaf people to information through direct advocacy efforts. The project combines trainings, systematic advocacy efforts, conference and intensive group-work in establishing the sign language interpretation unit and subsequently launching of the services for the deaf community in Kosovo.
