Goal of this project is to contribute to better integration of the blind and visually impaired people into Kosovo society. The first objective focuses on improving diagnosis and treatment of the eye diseases in the regions of Prishtina, Peja and Prizren. The second objective is about increasing access of persons with visual impairment to labour market. At the same time, there will be advocacy efforts for integration of persons with disabilities to labour market and education and awareness raising campaign targeting employees in particular. To reach its objectives in ophthalmology and vocational trainings, the project builds on Czech know-how.
