(DOBA REALIZACE)
The project focuses on supporting added value and contributes to the improvement of agricultural productivity through the realization of five selected business plans. The realization of the project follows up on the results of the first phase of the project Farmers´ capacity building with a focus on the development of value chains (also realized by Charity Czech Republic), where two business plans for mango value chains, two for cassava and one for cashew nuts were chosen.

The implementation of the processing operation will be supported through machine and device deliveries, construction/adjustment of relevant premises, training of staff and by securing all the relevant business authorizations. Selected businesses will have established at least one product, a long-term contract with at least one buyer and at least two ways of how to support their own production. The supported entrepreneurs receive information about financial management and proper record keeping, legitimate business registration and access to formal financial services. The project further supports smooth deliveries of quality material for selected businesses by building capacities of other farmers in the field of cassava and mango production. The Czech Agricultural University and Zambian University of Barotseland are the project´s partners. These two institutions provide expert technical knowledge,  and participate in both the expert trainings and the continuous result assessments of the realization.
