The „Health for Mothers and Children of Cambodia“ project aims for improving the quality and accessibility of the maternal and child health care for the rural population in the province of Takeo, Cambodia.

The main goals of the project are improving the quality of the public health care services and increasing the demand for these services among the rural population. 48 public health providers will be supported through technical improvements and material supplies, capacity building of the staff and in selected cases complex reorganization of the health centre’s functioning. Public health care will be promoted through the health awareness campaigns and will be made accessible to the poorest through the network of the health equity funds.
