The main idea behind this project is the use of the great potential of documentary films and other audiovisual materials in Global Development Education. The project will use these materials to increase the competence of teachers in the field of Global Development Education and thus strengthen its integration into schools educational programmes. Through the use of documentary film the project will stir their interest in various global development themes of the least developed countries in the global South and help the target group to form their opinions and motivate them to their own active participation and engagement in solutions. During the project the educational materials will be developed, the teachers and university students will be trained how to use it and the activities of the students will be supported.
