The project will focus on a comprehensive approach of prevention of acute and chronic malnutrition in children under 5 years throught integrated management of acute malnutrition in the provinces of Takeo, Kandal, Kampong Chhang and Kampong Speu, Cambodia. Use of Magna IMAM approach enable to create interconnection - proper coverage and follow up of registered patients. The integrated approach involves linking between community health volunteers (VHSG) with the health centers, which will operate in the community screening and education about symptoms and risk factors of malnutrition, and effective ways of prevention and create an effective referral system to other sites.
